Metsec Profile Manipulation
Metsec’s Profile Manipuliation (MPM) division specialises
in precision bending,
forming or sweeping of metal
profiles into finished components for the production of safety cabs and Roll Over
Protection Systems for agricultural vehicles, excavators, construction vehicles
and fork lift trucks. We supply most of the major industrial vehicle manufacturers
with standard and irregular shaped welded tubes and frames. We also
produce rings for liquid tankers and structural components for commercial vehicles
and offer a wide range of additional manipulation and fabrication services.
The Profile manipulation division utilises technology, including advanced 5-axis
Laser Cutting to handle a range of materials including all types of Steel, Stainless
Steels and Aluminium. This secondary process along with our weld, fabrication and
drilling operations gives the customer total flexibility under one roof.
As part of our complete technical support service, we work closely with customers’
design engineers to develop and test their concepts, using 3D modelling software
to simulate bending of profiles. Full prototyping services are also available.
