Metsec's Framing Systems

Metsec's Site Fixed Steel Framing Systems (SFS) Division and Metframe Divison developed and now lead the market when it comes to light gauge, galvanised steel structural framing systems suitable for a wide range of applications in most sectors of construction.

Metframe and SFS

Our two systems are Metframe – a pre-panelised steel building frame system that is fabricated off-site and assembled on-site with concrete floors providing a complete superstructure and SFS - a fast track steel stud panel framing system which is fixed as infill between the main structural frame members and provides a carrier for insulation, exterior cladding and interior wallboard.

Both steel framing systems offer pre-engineered off-site fabrication in line with the demands of Modern Methods of Construction and are structurally proven and independently tested to provide thermal, acoustic and fire resistance.

Metframe Framing System

Metframe steel Framing
Metsec plc Metframe is a light-gauge, cold-roll formed, galvanised steel structural framing system that is ideal for use in a wide variety of medium rise superstructures.

The Metframe system is ideal for projects where the speed of construction and / or a lightweight frame is required and provides the stability and integrity required without the need for a steel or concrete primary frame.
